Jim Fox has recently moved to the US to take up the position of Senior Vice President of Americas Supply Operations at AstraZeneca. Previously he served as VP of Sweden Operations and ran the Södertälje campus, one of the company’s largest manufacturing sites. Since joining in 2021, he has led digital transformation efforts, including programs to upskill employees, improve productivity, and increase efficiency. With over 23 years at GlaxoSmithKline in senior operations and technical roles, he brings extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham and is committed to driving innovation, sustainability, and collaboration in the industry.
